What we offer

Classes built
for you

Three programmes. All designed from the ground up for post-menopausal women. You're not an afterthought here — you're the whole point.

Programme 01

Ladies Who Lift
Programme

Resistance training is the single most evidence-backed intervention for post-menopausal health. It builds muscle, protects bone density, improves balance, and boosts resting metabolism. We start light. We progress smart. And we celebrate every single lift.

Kelley teaches strength using a hypertrophy-first approach — controlled, effective movements that build lean muscle safely. The LWL programme runs in 8-week blocks with clear weekly progressions and technique coaching. Enquire below to join the next block.

You don't need any experience to join. When you enquire, Kelley will have a brief conversation with you to understand your background and place you in the right stream. Beginners focus on learning movement patterns safely; intermediate and advanced members progress load and complexity over time. Everyone starts where they are — not where they think they should be.

Bring yourself and a bottle of water. The studio has a full set of dumbbells (from very light up to heavier), resistance bands of all levels, TRX suspension trainers, and everything else needed for the programme. Nothing to buy, nothing to carry in.

Most gyms run classes of 20–30 people. At that size, an instructor cannot watch your form, notice when something feels wrong, or give you a modification that actually fits your body. We cap at 12 so Kelley can see every rep, speak to every person, and make every session feel personal. You will never be just a face in a crowd here.

Kelley works regularly with members who have arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, hip or knee replacements, prolapse, and post-surgery restrictions. Every exercise in the programme has a modification that removes load from the affected joint without removing the benefit. Tell Kelley before your first class — not after — and she will adapt from day one.

Programme 02

Pilates for
your body now

Forget the Instagram version. Ours is quieter, deeper, and designed around the bodies that actually walk through our door. We focus on pelvic floor restoration, core rebuilding, and reducing chronic joint pain. Reformer and mat options both available.

After menopause, pelvic floor weakness is common — and rarely discussed in a gym setting. Our Pilates programme actively addresses this through specific breathing, core engagement, and movement cues designed around post-menopausal physiology. If you experience any incontinence or prolapse symptoms, please tell Sara before class. It's not embarrassing — it's exactly why we're here.

Weekend Pilates with Sara runs Saturday and Sunday mornings. Weekday sessions vary — check the live timetable for current times. All times and availability are managed through LegitFit where you can book and pay directly.

Programme 03

Nutrition 1:1
consultations

Nutrition at The Wellness Hub is private, practical, and calm. These are 1:1 sessions designed for real life after menopause — energy, sleep, protein, digestion, and habits that actually stick.

After menopause, protein needs increase significantly — most women eat far less than their body requires for muscle retention and bone density. Our nutrition approach prioritises getting enough of the right foods rather than removing things. No calorie counting, no forbidden foods, no weigh-ins. Just practical guidance on what to add and when.

Note: Nutrition consultations are booked separately from class drop‑ins and membership. We’ll confirm availability + pricing when you enquire.

What a consult looks like
A quick intake (goals, routine, appetite, sleep, energy)
A clear “what to add” plan (protein, fibre, hydration)
Simple meal ideas that match your week (no perfection)
Optional follow‑up to adjust based on what’s working
Bring this
A rough idea of what you eat on a normal day + any GP guidance you’re already following (optional).

Information only. Not medical advice.

Structured courses
when you want them

Not everyone wants random drop-ins. Sometimes you want a clear start date, a plan, and momentum. These programmes run a few times per year.

LWL — 8 weeks
A progressive strength block built around technique, confidence, and consistency. Great if you’re new to lifting or you want structure.
Hyrox — 8 weeks (seasonal)
Endurance + strength blend for members who like a goal and a community challenge. Runs twice per year. Supportive, not intense-for-the-sake-of-it.
Pilates — weekends
Weekend Pilates with Sara Connor (Saturday + Sunday). Calm cueing, strong fundamentals, and progress you can feel.
Mobility — weekly
Gentle mobility sessions to keep joints moving well. Great alongside strength and Pilates.

questions

Everything you need to know before booking your first class.

Still unsure? Ask us
No experience needed. All classes are designed for women who are new to structured exercise as well as those returning after a break. Strength classes have beginner, intermediate, and advanced streams — you'll be placed where it makes sense for you, and you can move up at your own pace.
Drop‑in (€12) lets you attend any single class on the timetable with no commitment — pay per session. Membership (€80/month) gives you two classes per week at a fixed monthly cost, which works out at roughly €10 per class. Membership is ideal if you want a consistent routine and a guaranteed spot each week.
Yes — each of your two weekly membership classes can be used on any scheduled session: LWL strength, Pilates, Mobility, or weekend Pilates with Sara. Each booked session counts as one class credit. Hyrox and Nutrition 1:1 are priced separately.
LWL stands for Ladies Who Lift — Kelley's 8-week structured strength programme. It runs a few times per year and gives you clear weekly progressions, technique coaching, and accountability. It's perfect if you prefer a plan with a defined start and finish rather than open drop-ins. Contact us to find out when the next block starts.
Not at all. Hyrox is a fitness event combining running and functional exercises, but our 8-week Hyrox prep programme is community-led and supportive — it's not about competing at elite level. It runs twice per year. If you enjoy a goal and a group challenge, it's a great option. Pricing is announced when each block opens — ask us to be notified.
All bookings and payments are handled through LegitFit. Create a free account, choose your class from the live timetable, and pay securely online. Use the My Bookings page for step-by-step instructions and a direct link.
Please cancel at least 12 hours before your class through LegitFit. This keeps your spot available for someone else and protects the quality of the small groups. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged — see our Terms for full details.
Please tell us before your first class — not after. Kelley works regularly with members who have arthritis, osteopenia, osteoporosis, joint replacements, prolapse, and post-surgery limitations. Classes are adapted individually where needed. If you are unsure whether a specific condition is suitable, send us a message and we will advise honestly.
Nutrition consultations are private 1:1 sessions with Kelley, booked separately from classes. They are practical and calm — no calorie counting, no diet culture. You'll leave with a simple plan built around your real week. Pricing and availability are confirmed on enquiry. Get in touch to arrange a slot.
Comfortable workout clothes and trainers. All equipment is provided — dumbbells, resistance bands, and TRX are included in strength classes. For Pilates on the reformer, grip socks are ideal (loaners available at the studio). Bring water. That is genuinely all you need.
Strength classes cap at 12 people. Pilates caps at 10. Small numbers are intentional — it means Kelley can coach everyone properly and spot when someone needs a modification. You will never be just a face in a crowd here.
Yes — there is free street parking on Carndonagh Park and surrounding roads in Donaghmede. The studio is at 123a Carndonagh Park, Dublin 13. If you are coming by bus, several Dublin Bus routes serve the Donaghmede area. Drop us a message if you need directions.
